What Do I Need to Know?
I understand I have the ability to view lesson plans, grades, etc. online, how do I access that information? Accessing RenWeb, a video demonstration of our online registration and student information application. An introduction video for RenWeb is also available for viewing.
How do I pay school tuition, lunch fees, and, if needed, After School Care? Billing - Tuition, Lunch and After School Care (if applicable)
An invoice can be sent to you via email on the first of the month. Payment is due by the tenth of the month; checks may be returned with your child and given to their teacher who in turn will forward the checks to the office. Please put the Student Id # in the memo of the check
Use bill pay from Personal Checking. (Please put family ID number in account number). Payment is due by the tenth of the month
Automatic Draft from Personal Checking. The form to authorize this option may be found at http://www.sts-peter-paul.org/admissions/Tuition%20Direct%20Deposit%208%2023%2011.pdf. Please print, complete and return the form to the office along with a cancelled check.
I understand textbooks are available on line, how do we access those books? Online textbooks procedures
Where do I find information about uniform policy, grading scale, behavior plan, etc? The Parent student handbook is available at http://www.sts-peter-paul.org/academics/handbook.cfm. Please review the information at your earliest convenience.
Are there any forms I need to fill out now that my child is enrolled? We ask that you complete, print and return the following forms to your child's teacher as soon as possible:
Photo Release form - the first section gives the school permission to use photos of your child, without identification on the school website; the second section gives permission to identify your child in photos used for publicity puporses (Honor Roll pictures, Knight of the Month, etc.)
Acceptable Technology Use Policy - Student and parent acknowledge they will comply will acceptable use of technology associated with the school.
Parent/Student Handbook - acknowledges having received and read the current Parent/Student Handbook
What time can my child be dropped off at school and where does he/she go once they arrive? Students may arrive beginning at 7:30 a.m. Parents are asked to pull up and allow a volunteer car door opener to help your child out of the car. Once on campus students are allowed unto the playground until the bell rings at 7:55. The tardy bell rings at 8:00 a.m. Students arriving after this time must be accompanied to the office by a parent or guardian to complete a tardy slip for admission into their classroom.
What time does school dismiss? The dismissal bell rings at 3:00 p.m. for bus riders, walkers, and students going to REACH (after school care). A dismissal bell for all other students rings at 3:05.
Can my child ride a bus? Bus service is available through the Lafayette Parish School System. To make arrangements for bus transportation for your child please access http://webquery.lpssonline.com/edulog/webquery/ enter your home address, select Montessori Academy under the Program tab then click Go. Click on the School Code and a listing of bus drivers with phone numbers will appear. Contact the appropriate bus drivers to make transportation arrangements.
What is the procedure for car riders? Individuals picking up students after dismissal are asked to line up in the parking lot, four abreast then alternate moving through the pickup line. Please access http://www.sts-peter-paul.org/student-life/dismissal.cfm to view a video describing the procedure. The vehicle should have a car sign with the child's name on it for proper identification. If a sign is not present, and faculty do not recognize the individual that individual may be asked to provide picture identification, which will be cross checked with the list of approved individuals who may pick up the student.

How do parents and visitors enter the campus? The school gate is locked at all times. To gain access to the gate the office must unlock the gate. Please view this video for an introduction to our security system.
